# company.updated

## Purpose

The `company.updated` webhook is triggered when a customer **Company**'s details change, such as its name, legal name or address.

Partner companies do not send this event, including [a partner that also buys from you directly](https://docs.salesbricks.com/partners/overview.md#a-company-that-is-both-a-partner-and-a-customer).

## Payload format

Your configured endpoint will receive a [Company](https://docs.salesbricks.com/api-reference/webhooks/company/payload.md) payload with the company's current details.
