# plan.published

## Purpose

The `plan.published` webhook is triggered each time a **Plan** is published in your catalog, including when an existing plan is republished after a change.

It is also sent when Salesbricks creates a new version of a plan without a publish: archiving a brick re-versions every live plan that contains it, and copying a published plan or importing one from Stripe creates a version too.

## Payload format

The payload carries only the plan's ID. Fetch the plan's details with [Retrieve a plan](https://docs.salesbricks.com/api-reference/plans/retrieve-a-plan.md). The event is sent before the publish has finished saving, so a request made the instant it arrives can still return the previous version. Retry after a short delay if the version you get predates the event.
